How To Use Rarity Tools To Find Best NFT?

There are a lot of NFTs out there. It’s hard to know which one to buy. You could do your own research, but it’s time-consuming. Fortunately, you can use a tool called to investigate them for you. In this post I will explain to you step by step guide how can find best nft to invest.

What is rarity tools?

Rarity Tools is a website and tool that ranks generative art and NFTs by rarity level. This allows us to see, for example, the Cryptopunks or Bored Apes in order from most to least unique. This is very key, as we can know which NFTs are the most valuable and unique at a glance.

Why is it important to know the NFT rarity?

The rarity of a NFT is one of the most important factors in determining its value within a collection. For example, among the Cryptopunks , aliens are the most valuable because they are the rarest (after #8348, since it is absolutely unique).

Of course, a piece’s value isn’t always determined by its rarity, since an NFT may not be so unique from a technical standpoint and have a very popular appearance for some reason. However, it is a good indicator when it comes to investing.

How does work?

The website is quite easy to use. Each project on the site is classified individually since the rarity of a non-fungible token is not always measured the same way.

For example, Cryptopunks is a project that measures rarity by the number of attributes the NFT has. The greater the number of attributes, the greater the rarity. Other projects place more value on different attributes being matched in different ways . Therefore, these projects rate rarity manually.

We can find how rare an NFT is by searching in our collection. Let’s say we have Cryptopunk #2341 . On the top bar, click on ” All Collections ” and then find the name of our collection (Cryptopunks).

Click on it and then search for our NFT. We can see this in Opensea under ” details ” in our NFT information. In this case, the token id matches the number of our Cryptopunk, so we don’t have to search too far. Click on ” lookup “, and a pop-up window will appear with info on our Cryptopunk: from its position in the rarity ranking to all its attributes and a general rarity score .

rarity rank

It may also be the case that we want to own an NFT from a collection that interests us, such as Bored Apes. Let’s say you want a Bored Ape that’s somewhere in the middle of the rarity range.

As before, we searched All Collections for the Bored Ape Yacht Club project. Let’s imagine that out of the 10,000 NFTs out there, we want something between 4000 and 6000 rarity (so it’s in the middle).

You can sort by rarity and even try to make it in a certain price range and with certain attributes like having hats of a certain type or clothes. In this case, you can sort by halo and then these Bored Apes appear with medium rarity.

Discover collections

You may want to discover new projects, which is easy to do if we go to On that website, we can see the latest collections added , the most popular ones (based on factors like number of owners), and all collections (which you can order by different factors).

For example, if you click on one called Pork1984 , we see what this collection is about. you will also find a description of it and a link to its website . In addition, you can see how many people have bought or sold this collection in the last 7 days, its value in total over that time period and the average price it has been sold for during that duration.

You can also see the Top Collections section , which ranks collections according to different factors such as number of owners or total value over time. This is very interesting because it allows us to see which collections are most valuable or popular among users .

We hope that this guide has been helpful to you in order to find the best NFTs in which you can invest.
