Can I sell the same NFTs on OpenSea and SuperRare?

Yes and No. If you have locked NFTs on Rarible, OpenSea, Nifty Gateway, or any other platform that allows you to lock your NFT to exclude it from being listed on SuperRare, then you can’t list it there. If your NFTs are unlocked, non-exclusive, and non-unique, you can list them on both platforms.

SuperRare only accepts unique NFTs. Rarible allows you to lock your NFT from being listed on SuperRare (cryptoartists can also do this with their own smart contracts). To sell an NFT on Rarible, the creator needs to send ETH for gas fees to the address where their tokens are minted (e.g., 0x3f19…). They will be granted a Pro account which will allow them to sell their token’s ownership rights directly through the platform via secondary market sales – they must use myetherwallet as opposed to Metamask since the former is able to access contract functions, whereas Metamask cannot.

If you have locked NFTs on Rarible, OpenSea, Nifty Gateway, or any other platform that allows you to lock your NFT to exclude it from being listed on SuperRare, then you can’t list it there.

We are working with all of these platforms to see if we can get them to allow us to list them as well.

NFTs

If your NFTs are unlocked, non-exclusive, and non-unique, you can list them on both platforms.

If your NFTs are unlocked, non-exclusive, and non-unique, you can list them on both platforms.

If your NFTs are locked, you cannot sell them on multiple platforms.

If your NFTs are unlocked, but not unique (i.e., they have been listed somewhere else before), then no, you cannot sell them on multiple platforms until they become unique by only being listed on one platform at a time (and not in any other best nft marketplace).

SuperRare only accepts unique NFTs.

SuperRare only accepts unique NFTs. It must be unique if you want to sell your NFT on SuperRare. This means that the same NFT cannot be listed on another platform and then sold on SuperRare.

If you have an identical copy of an NFT in your possession and you’re trying to sell it on SuperRare, please send an email with a photo of the item and details about why this is not a unique item (e.g., “I made this myself,” etc.) to support@superrare.io.

Rarible allows you to lock your NFT from being listed on SuperRare.

One of the primary differences between OpenSea and SuperRare is that Rarible allows you to lock your NFT from being listed on SuperRare. This means that if you have a unique item, you can sell it exclusively on Rarible while simultaneously listing it as available for sale on OpenSea. Once you’ve made your decision, buying an NFT from one platform will not allow you to purchase the same NFT elsewhere (even if they share ownership), which prevents users from gaming the system by buying tokens at low prices and immediately flipping them for higher ones.

In order to sell an NFT on SuperRare, the creator needs to send ETH for gas fees to the address where their tokens are minted (eg 0x3f19…). The transaction will go through, and then they can start selling their items.

You may have noticed that we use the term “listing” to describe how you can sell your NFT on OpenSea. This is because all of our listings are publicly visible and accessible, just like any other open market. The process for selling an item is simple:

  • You upload your image or video on the platform
  • You add a price for your listing (in USD)
  • You accept Ether payments from potential buyers in exchange for your item

Conclusion

In summary, the answer is yes, you can sell your NFT on multiple platforms at once if it’s allowed by the platform. What happens if one of my NFTs sells?

If an NFT is sold on OpenSea or any other marketplace, you would not be able to list it anymore on SuperRare or Rarible as they allow only unique assets to be listed.

You can still list your NFT on different platforms, but remember that some of them may have exclusivity clauses, so check this before listing anywhere else.
